What I’m Reading

19 Jan, 2024

Reading is hopeless. I'm deeply wedded to a tiny handful of fantasy and sci-fi authors I discovered in the formative years of my youth and I keep coming back to them like some people do with the bible – maybe because they're so central to my idea of me.

The hour before bed is usually the best time to get into a book, but my ambitions to read improving material (whatever that might be) rarely survives my need for an easily absorbed bit of comfort reading.

I'm trying though. On this page I'll list a few of the books I currently have a book mark stuck in, as well as those books I've actually managed to finish and feel good about.
